Sakigami Toto 'Mockingbird' - Deadman Wonderland

Here's my own interpretation of Sakigami Toto. Hope you guys like it!  And below is my summary of this tragic and complex character.

Words cannot express the feels I felt when I learned who Sakigame Toto truly is . At first, when I only watched the anime, he (or rather her, because I thought Toto was a girl) looked like a 'normal', quite mental Deadman. But hey, they were all mentally affected, after all, they're in Deadman Wonderland.  

Before Hagire Rinichiro took over his body, nothing is really known of Toto. I think he was just a simple kid, who lost all of his family and had an extremely powerful Branch of Sin. It was disgusting to see how Hagire used this boy to his needs, I honestly cried when I read the flashback about his days before Hagire used him, because he was such an ill fortuned child…

Compared to Hagire Rinichiro, Promoter Tamaki looks like an innocent demented child. 

If you read the manga, you'd know that Toto's 'Nee-chan' stayed with him until the end, and when he finally returned to himself, he could finally die peacefully.

There's no other manga that equals to Deadman Wonderland. I don't think even Death Note is as good, and don't get me wrong, Death Note is my ultimate and favourite masterpiece, yet Deadman Wonderland offered so much more to the story. It had so many different complex characters that were unique in themselves. And Toto certainly was one of them.
